The Shikara website was designed as a central digital hub representing multiple business verticals under one umbrella, including hospitality (Hotel Highway View), dining (Shikara Restaurant), and real estate (Shikara Constructions). The platform highlights the brand’s diverse offerings in a structured manner, allowing users to explore hotel stays, restaurant experiences, and property developments seamlessly from a single interface. The website showcases key highlights such as deluxe accommodations, Kashmiri-themed dining experiences, and real estate projects like Shikara Heights, while maintaining a consistent brand narrative across all segments.
The key challenge was to bring together completely different business verticals—hospitality, restaurant, and real estate—into one cohesive website without confusing the user. Each segment had a different target audience and intent, making it difficult to maintain clarity while still presenting a unified brand identity. Additionally, structuring the navigation so users could quickly find relevant information, while ensuring each vertical received equal importance, required careful planning. Another challenge was balancing promotional content with usability, especially when catering to both experience-driven users (restaurant/hotel) and information-driven users (real estate).
